Jennifer’s comment on making something more personal stuck with me. So I went back to an earlier concept that focuses on Detroit. I am interested in the landscape and the perception most people have of Detroit. The amount of burnt down buildings, empty green space, and abandoned houses is astounding. Here are some experiments I did playing with a map of Detroit and visualizing the information in the landscape.
